Accessibility of our offices

Our office can be accessed by wheelchair using a ramp. We also have a door bell that can easily be operated from within a wheelchair. Inside the building there is an accessible elevator. Go up to the 1st floor, that is where our office is located. If you need assistance you are very welcome to get in touch with us beforehand by e-mail or phone.

Public Transport in Hamburg: "HVV"

Timetable HVV

Accessibility of public transport

At Altona railway station there are elevators that allow access to the S-Bahn. The elevators are equipped with Braille and automated announcements. The central Bus station (next to Altona railway station) is at ground level. As a rule, HVV buses are wheelchair accessible.

S-Bahn

The nearest S-Bahn station is Altona railway station. From there you can reach us in around 15 min by foot.

Busline 2

Alternatively, you can catch Bus 2 (towards Schenefeld) and get off at "Gaußstraße". From there, it is only a 5 min walk to our office.

Busline 150

If you take Bus 150, the nearest bus stop is "Am Born". It’s around a 10 min walk from there.

Busline 37

The nearest bus stop on bus 37 is "Daimlerstraße". Walking from there you can expect to take around 8 min.

Taking the car

Borselstraße 26 is situated in Ottensen which belongs to the district of Altona, West of Hamburg city centre. Ottensen borders Bahrenfeld and Othmarschen – this is where the nearest motorway exits are located.

If you drive in from the West take Behringstraße to Große Brunnenstraße. Turn left onto Große Brunnenstraße, cross Friedensallee (this is where Große Brunnenstraße becomes Daimlerstraße) and turn right into Planckstraße. After around 150 m you will get to Borselstraße. Turn left. After a few meters you will have reached your destination. (You will need to enter the courtyard by foot using the driveway for the fire brigade: Borselstraße 26 does not border the street directly but can be accessed only from within the big courtyard).

If you are driving in from the East or the North, we recommend arriving via Stresemannstraße, turning onto Bahrenfelder Steindamm, passing below the S-Bahn and turning right onto Gaußstraße immediately after the underpass (you ought to be passing by Thalia Probebühne, a theatre). The first street to your left is Borselstraße. From here it is only about 200 m until you get to the driveway reserved for the fire brigade. You can enter the driveway by foot, reaching building Nr. 26 via the courtyard.

Parking

Unfortunately our office does not have its own parking lot. The parking situation in Borselstraße is rather difficult but not hopeless.
